In the morning, you will know the work in a sheep farm through the owner speech and the upbringing and wool extraction. The route continues with the visit to workshop of handcrafted fabric.
A menu with traditional and local ingredients, from the vegetable garden and the native forest, will be arranged in the lunch time. We will visit to a famous cook in her kitchen.
In the afternoon, next to Carileufu river, a local entrepreneur will show us his reforestation work with native species: seeds picking, greenhouse and reproduction. In the end of journey, a local family will receive us in their home for dinner and sleep.
After the rural breakfast, we will start the trekking to Peñihue mountain, historic place for Mapuche people by piñón picking (seed from araucaria tree). During the route, the guide will explain the formation of territory and the forest with trees natives species like coihues, nothofagus and araucarias along the way.
A panoramic sight over the volcanoes and the possibilities of condor bird watching, it will be the stage for lunch and than return until Kurarewe Square.
