"Stone Altar"

This mountainous landscape integrates a marvelous natural and cultural heritage with evidence in their national parks and the inheritance of the Mapuche people. This place is to 39 k. from Pucón and 152 k. from Temuco, in the Araucanía region. This is a border commune with Argentine with a territory that includes natural reserves with the protection of the State.

100% of the surface is part of the Araucarias Biosphere Reserve, which recognized by UNESCO since 2010. Most of their people are Mapuche and live in rural conditions.
